Fall is just starting to show its face here. Tonight I stepped out on the deck as the sun is setting and looked for Fall. I found the dogwood with some yellow in the leaves and red berries. I also saw the beautiful reflection of slight colors in the lake. I felt a little coolness in the air. It is just a tease of what is to come...
I love the thoughts, love the journey, love the sparkles and shafts of light, the twinkles and colors, the reflections in still pools, or shimmering in moving water!
The beauty of looking through the canopy of trees 🌳, hearing birdsong, the sun ☀️ light fill this morning with peace. Also watched a monarch come out of a chrysalis. A gift of Nature. ❤️🙏❤️
I have been watching the autumn sky I think since August! So nice of you to ask about it...There are days of blue blue sky in Iowa and days of gray. In the morning it's darker. The sunsets seem spectacular. It feels a bit sad. It is a time of endings. This year is on the decline. It's time to tuck all things in and I am seeing hints of color in the trees. One last burst of magnificence before this time ends. What a wonder filled year it has been!
My autumn sky is blue today, but not the deep blue of summer. A more muted blue that fits the season. I just love Hafiz. This one is lovely. Thanks, Carrie for the reminder to be in the present.
Thank you this beautiful reflection. Your posts, podcast and especially your music soothe my soul!
I need some clarification about the tour information. Is the performance in Hendersonville NC only in conjunction with the camp activities or can tickets be purchased separately? Also, when I looked at the ticket webpage it stated Thursday October 26 at 1:30 but the poster in todays post stated Friday, October 27. I am from Texas and will visiting within a few hours of Hendersonville NC and would be interested in hearing you in concert!
On this autumn day in Florida, the wind came through and toppled a small tree in a pot in the yard, blew down my neighbors scarecrow, and tossed a small bucket into the grass from the driveway- all in the quiet of an autumn night, with a breeze I never heard while the clouded moon floated above and gentle rain fell.
I breathe in the light. I breathe it in through the tunnel of thick bushes outside the window, wet with memories of the cozy indoor Light of the last four days of fog and rain - of a grandmother's heart - also in an autumnal season -- listening to the rain now of falling leaves, cycling life.
Your poem was exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you <3
The return of Orion the Hunter in the night sky lets me know that fall is here. My father introduced me to Orion when I was little.

PAUSE
After prayers, still walking, I listened.
“Pause," He said,
“Feel the in-between.”
Steps slowed. Looking up I see
Leaves half turned. The moon still up and
Peeking through a slit in the sky....
Warm with a tint of coolness swirls around.
No longer summer
But not yet autumn.
My in-betweenness is acknowledged.
He knows and we celebrate
Even the in-between.

Thank you Carrie, another beautiful prompt.

"All the While" is so beautiful! Regarding your piece on democracy and prophecy, you might like this one from A Way of Oneness, a compilation series based on a wise one's words: https://scotteminers.substack.com/p/prophecies-visions-and-prophets

I like the images you shared. I don't think of Florida as having wind unless it's a hurricane!

Nice! I like your images.
