This looks like a grove of aspen trees. If so, it couldn't be a better metaphor for standing together and alone. The largest living organism is a grove of aspens in the Gunnison National Forest in Colorado. They are interconnected by a common root system, which makes the whole thing work. Kind of like we're all interconnected in spirit. Now if we could just learn to act like it...
Hi Dave, yes, I chose this photo because it was a growth of aspens. I love the reality and the metaphor of the Grove in gunnison national forest as being the largest living organism. Each tree is a part of of one connected whole. It’s on my bucket list to go and visit that grove. Thanks for bringing the metaphor to the community!!!
