Hi Folks,
This month our Song Lab features the song “Potluck” which is the second single from the my new album A Great Wild Mercy. I thought it would be fun to explore a few of the new songs as they are released. As usual I talk about the song and a bit about the writing and recording process. After than, I do a short tutorial for those who play guitar and would like to play the song too.
Potluck was co-written with Siri Undlin from the band Humbird, who I hope you’ll check out!
As usual, I’m including tablature for the guitar players as well as an easy Guitar/Lyric Sheet. My feelings are that the greatest compliment you can give a songwriter is to sing the song…and hopefully make it your own!
